SellMax Scholarship

SellMax was first founded in 1990 because two entrepreneurs saw a need in the community. Instead of simply sending your vehicle to the junkyard when you found out it would no longer run again, you could call up SellMax and get PAID for your vehicle. It sounds awesome, we know.

See, back in 1990, selling your vehicle was not an easy task and was actually quite burdensome. Many people just kept the car sitting in their yard to prevent even thinking about the process of selling. Well, you could sell your car to the dealer, but then, if your car wasn’t worth much in the beginning, you may have felt like you were paying them!

Anyways, Tom and Tony had a great idea and formed SellMax, where customers get fast money for their vehicles. No hassle. No problem. At SellMax, we want to provide a lucky student with the opportunity to afford a higher education to develop new ideas, invent products, or become the next CEO by offering a $1,000 scholarship.

The Scholarship Award

SellMax will award one (1) $1,000 scholarship to the best submitted application determined by our team of judges. The selected winner will be issued a check for the scholarship amount, which is made payable to the college of the student’s choice.

The Deadline

The deadline for all scholarship applications is July 1st, 2019.

Eligibility

The scholarship application is open to any senior in high school who is attending a University or any student who is currently enrolled in an accredited college.

Requirements

All scholarship applicants need to submit a one-page essay on the topic of “Environmental Benefits and the Positive Impact of Recycling Vehicles.”

Tips to Help You with Your Submission

1. Carefully research the topic to provide a good foundation to build on. You should cover all relevant points including any benefits, statistics, or information that pertains to the topic.

2. Check your essay for any grammatical or spelling errors.

3. Your essay should be a full page.

How the Winner Is Selected?

The scholarship winner will be selected on August 1, 2019. The winner will be chosen at the discretion of SellMax. No purchase or payment is required to apply for or obtain the scholarship.

Terms and Conditions

SellMax takes your privacy seriously and will never use your information in any way other than for the purposes of the scholarship application. We will never sell or distribute your personal information to third parties.

The winner of the scholarship will be confirmed once any requested information has been provided and verified. The winner MUST submit proof of college attendance and enrollment in an accredited college. Additional information to prove eligibility may be required.
